Impact of the Organizational Commitment and Organizational Culture of Nursing and Turnover Intention on the Job Satisfaction of Public Hospital Nurses

Abstract
Purpose : The purpose of this study was analyze the differences of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, nursing organization culture and turnover intention between Public Hospital Nurses and thereby, provide for some basic data useful to effective management of nursing human resources and improve the organizational performances.

Method : Data was collected from convenient sample of 210 nurses in 8 cities. The questionnaire measured the level of job satisfaction, commitment to organization, nursing organization culture and turnover intention of Public Hospital Nurses. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, £ø©÷ test, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson"s correlation coefficients, Multiple Stepwise Regression.

Result : The extent of the job satisfaction had differences according to the age (p=.000), total work experience (p=.000), shift(p=.044), number of moves (p=.012), position(p=.007), satisfaction current department(p=.000).
There was a significant positive correlation between job satisfaction, organizational commitment, nursing organization culture. There was of job satisfaction and turnover intention also showed the opposite relationship.
The influencing factors in job satisfaction of Public Hospital Nurses were organizational commitment, nursing organization culture, satisfaction current 229 department, turnover intention ¥â=.500. The organizational commitment has the highest significant predictor of job satisfaction.

Conclusion : From the studies reviewed, it can expect the positive effect to improve the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, nursing organization culture and turnover intention between Public Hospital Nurses who have organizational performances.
